I’ve had kidney disease since 15, I’m 27 now. I’d like to learn more about any correlation between parasitic infection and ckd. Information found online is generally very limited and often contradictory. Any resources are appreciated.

How can we get doctor's in the United States to actually consider the possibility of a parasitic illness in agriculture workers? The doctors here in the Fort Worth vicinity including the main infectious disease doctor at the Tarrant county health department are condescending and dismissive of so many suffering needlessly of treatable parasitic infestations. it does not make any evolutionary sense to assume that United States citizens without a travel history are a special kind of homosapien that have become immune to mans oldest nemesis. That assumption is absurd and can not be backed up by science as far as I can find.

Oh wow.... Not sure why they don't want to diagnose/treat parasites. I know of a pharmacy that interfered with a prescription and gave the doctor a bad time, so the doctor withdrew the prescription. Horrible.

I wonder how parents can treat their family in the U.S.? Seeing that M.D.'s don't want to treat. But I see the recommendations 14:16. Again, HEROES.

Yes exactly. My first week in Africa I fell ill with an internal infection. The doctor had no questions, one little pill and I was up and running again. I'm most happy where the pavement ends, mountains forests, deserts, hunting, fishing, minimum sanitation. Quite frankly, some of us should unimpeded direct access to all of the remedies. Here in the USA you can't even buy treatment. My recent infection was met with a two thousand usd dollars false negative and refusal to treat. I'm up in the air over it. Looking abroad. Heck with this current insurance based medical system where the uninsured are treated like disposable human life in favor of socialism and dictator like monopolies capitalizing on racketeering. If I don't find help soon I will be either blind or dead depending on which comes first. I need at least $10,000 to buy a relatively simple and straightforward three weeks of Benzathine penicillin G.

Would ivermectin be the best treatments for these worms?

Ivermectin paralyzes worms to a long enough extent that allows some to die. Probably better to take another drug with ivermectin for this reason. Whatever second drug you use would be more effective in its killing if taken within 60 hours of ivermectin since the worms will be paralyzed and therefore more vulnerable I reckon.
