Absolutely love and adore Reiko, one of the best antagonist ever written Like how she becomes more.. well human than Migi our protags alien ally as seen in the ep how he cant understand why she isnt defending herself. Completely at a loss Stellar amazing stuff, wish could see more of in fiction.

The first time I watched this episode I had the same calm reaction as yall. I rewatched the Reiko scene a few months later and I BAWLED my eyes out. Such a well done, emotional, scene.

This episode is so freaking good... Mainly because of Reiko Tamura. When first watching, her behaviour obviously seems odd, but the things she says and does give a lot of food for thoughts. And some great details in this episode that I have noticed for myself: When Tamura hands over her baby, the baby tried to hold on to her hair. The one part of her body that is actually parasyte, and not human. So in a way, the baby views the parasyte itself as its mother, not the actual human whose body she took over. When Shinichi finally cries, his left eye cries first, while the right site follows later. Perhaps because Migi is on the right site of his body, so his left site is overall more human, making it cry first. And something more obvious of course: The parallel between Shinichi and Tamura. Shinichi being a human who throughout the show lost touch with his humanity and became more parasyte-like. And then Tamura who is the exact opposite of that. Which culminates in Tamura being the one to ultimately bringing Shinichi back his humanity. The episode name is also something that is interesting to think about. Although like all parasyte episodes, it's based off a book name, I really think it's fitting here. Be it either in Shinichi, Tamura and maybe even the child being more than human in a literal sense. But also because Tamura being a parasyte somehow managed to become even more human than some actualy humans on the show.

Damn, I never thought that Tamura would have went out like that. But she was definitely becoming more human, also agreed with Morgan. That she could have helped the law and parasyte who want to change. Find some common ground. She was a real interesting character.

"don't bully us". that hits me a lot. we always don't wanna see what we've done to other animals,how many we've killed. they just killed as "food" same as we do. and usually they are killed in the end. always human wins but we usually can't understand " don't bully us" meaning like "what she talking about !! you killed human!!"
