Planning retirement to not be financially dependent on children n children having a nuclear family immediately after marriage is the best solution of such problems in the society. Peace of mind n stress free life will be at next level. And to avoid unfeidility, another rising issue of this generation, women taking care of the house n not thinking it as an inferior job to earning money and men taking care of earning money resulting into no interaction with other men n women. Husband wont have female colleagues nor women will go out n have male collegues. And if women think that they'll be financially dependent then so be it. Even the husband will be dependent on them for food. It'll be mutual dependency. Also husbands must realise that couple relationship must be at the top priority than any other blood relationship. Thats the closest bond. We dont become less of a "man" if we prioritise our wife over our parents, siblings n even our children. We men fail to realise the importance of our wife, our life partner.

In this case at least the girl has a brother and atleast one of her parents is stable. In my case being the only daughter and one parent in ICCU (Coma), inlaws wanted me to leave my father in hospital and prepare 3 course meal and go to office and not visit in hospital. In society in-laws are well respected but at home this how my father was treated during his last days.

This episode makes many more things clear 1. We men think that wife's love isnt unconditional cuz she see's our salary before marriage and parents' love is unconditional which isnt true. The character of the father makes it clear that a son's parents raise him to as a life insurance. They raise him so that he'll tc of them in their old age. So how come parents' love is selfless or unconditional? Even they expect to get returns from the son. 2. Husbands n in-laws expect that the wife must get equal rights in her parents' wealth as her brother but shouldnt share equal respnsibility of her parents. Double standards! 3. Another hypocricy, times have changed, daughter in laws r allowed to earn, times have changed (cuz we want a maid whose parents gave us the amount, we dont give her salary but she gives us salary n also slogs. And double fayda she'll earn so that we dont have feed her free of cost n also do all the household chores.) But hum purane khayal wale hai. She must get the dowry n also not spend her salary on her parents. There she isnt equal. 4. And fathers of the daughters r more hypocrite. They have done the same to their wife but there's a hriday parivartan in their thinking when their daughters get married. 5. After marriage, both men n women must remember one thing that is a couple relationship is stronger than all other blood relationships. Dont let the parents allow to interefere n destroy ur marriage. Cuz parents ne apni zindagi ji li. Aur apne aram ke liye jo tumhara peace of mind aur shaadi barbad kare aise parents ka pyar kabhi unconditional nhi hota. Kyunki parents jyada se jyada 20-30 saal rahenge. Uske baad akele life katni padegi. Aur dusri shaadi mushkil se hoti hai aur ho bhi gayi toh tumhe aur parents ko aur jyada compromise karna padega. Aur jo log sochte hai hum jawan hai affair karenge aur single rahenge toh har koi salman khan nhi hota. Jawani toh kat jaengi par budhape me sab se jyada apne partner ki hi zarurat hoti hai, na parents ki, na bachcho ki. Aur jo parents ye sab na sochke apna ego aur tumhare paiso pe apna comfort pehle rakhe toh they arent worth prioritising. Aaj kal toh waise bete selfless ho gaye hai jo wife aur parents ke bich parents ko chunte hai aur parents selfish ho gaye hai jo bete ke khushi ke upar uske paiso par apna comfort aur ego rakhte hai. The solution is couples must plan their retirement so that they dont have to depend on either their daughter or son. Have kids not as a retirement insurance but happiness in life. They must afford a househelp to tc of them. And nuclear family immediately after marriage is the best solution. And women, u r being fooled when u r made to earn. Cuz u have twice the burden of the family. House chores n earning, r two different yet equally important responsibilities. One person must burden oneself with only one of these. And men must realise that although, not all women r desperate n characterless but exposure to such men in working place may lead to affairs. If women tc of the household n men tc of the earning then there will less interaction of parayi aurat and paraya mard at work places. Neither wife will have male colleagues nor husband will have female colleagues. This may sound a backward thinking but its a harsh reality of the society. Many married men n women cheat on their partners. So the innocent husband of the bitch wife n innocent wife of the dog husband suffer. And their children learn the same. And dont think that earning member has an upper hand n the one tc of the house is beneath. Both r equally important.
