Barmandada, Nausadji, Hemantdada. Chitraguptji, Madanmohanji,SJ, KJI-AJI, RDB, Rabindra Jainji ,Raushanji ,Khayyamji, OPN, Raviji, Jaydebji, Basant Desaiji, C. Ramchandraji, N. Dattaji and so many stalwart music directors of yesteryears.But from the very boyhood I was reserve enough for the musics of the inimitable LP with a seperate and distinct liking of highest degree. I attended LP night at Netaji indoor stadium in 1983 and saw them with their team of more or less 100 persons in my own eyes.But it is to be noted that after the sad demise of Rafiji the inner-appeal of their music was to some extent diluted towards chaotic orchestration in the films like karj, om santi om etc.Rafiji did a lot for them and vice versa.

Flawless rendition and picturization. Saw the movie when i was 6 years old at Apsara Theatre in Bangalore. We caught 2 buses and reached the theatre on a rainy day. But the efforts were well worth it. Loved the songs and the dance sequences though I did not quite understand the story back then. Lucky to have been born in that era. The scene where Shashikala places the fiery log at Jaya Prada's leg towards the end of the song is etched in my memory from childhood. I literally had nightmares when I watched this as a 6 year old.

Jaya Prada is a fabulous dancer especially when she is dancing these traditional indian dances. I love it. I wish the hindi movies in these days and times will incorporate some of these dances with that of the western ones.......I can see the likes of Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai - Bachchan, Esha Deol in this era doing traditional indian dances in regards to what Jaya Prada did in this movie. Love the choreography and the traditional dance costumes. RIP Rishi Kapoor, you were one of the best in hindi cinema🙏🙏

I love love love the white sari with red toi tipkey so 80’s design and memory is so precious one reason I love 70’s and 80’s movies especially songs it’s all abt feelings of childhood and youth!!!! I was going through the comments. All mentioned the greatness of hero heroine singers music director and lyricist. I don't think anyone mentioned the director. The legendary Vishwanath. A brave personality - because this is his first film in Bollywood. Also first film to Jayaprada. And she played a dumb character. Hats off to the guts of Producer. And film is a hit!!! Vishwanath is best known for his award winning claasic film Sankaraabharanam.
