The lyrics are special because they describe this strange, often overlooked undercurrent of post-breakup pain when you are not actually mourning the loss of your partner anymore, but you mourn the loss of the feeling of being loved & being in love - loss of having a partner in life, of the future that you thought you were going to have with them. You don't even miss your ex as a person anymore, don't really want them back, but you miss how it felt to be loved & in love. It's a strange kind of emptiness. Maybe I'm just projecting my own feelings into the song, but this is what I hear out of it. It's touching. Thanks Patsie, you're the special one

The lyrics, written by Patrick Hetherington: Here I am again Waiting for a call This time it ain’t coming And I know I’m gonna walk Back to her again Waiting for a lie Waiting for another one Another way to waste my time And even though I do not care I wish that I would have you here I wish that I could still believe The love that once you gave to me And even though I am alright I wish I didn’t see the light The best thing I could ever find The worst thing I would ever find (Jules Crommelin's sick guitar solo) Here I am again Looking for a line Looking for a warmer way Another glass of wasted wine And yes there’s someone else Yes I’m feeling _fine_ Yes, yes, never better It’s not even on my mind It’s not even on my mind But even though I do not care I wish that I would have you here I wish that I could still believe The love that once you gave to me And even though I am alright I wish I didn’t see the light The best thing I could ever find The worst thing I would ever find

I doubt. I'd say it's Yourfault-2, another Patrick's sad lullaby. Upd. Well, after some more listening to it I understand better why you think it's Clockscared EP Parcels. The only parallel I find is the song Clockscared which imho is a slow blues with a sick guitar solo. I'd say this song is a combination of Yourfault because of the lyrics and Clockscared due to the guitar solo. Clockscared is much more bluesy for me than the Wthing.
