To just comment on the "extenuating circumstances" that you may be unaware of... Charvarious Ward's 1 year old child died in the parents arms in November. He did not quit on his team. No extenuating circumstances trump that, and the example was set. NO ONE would have faulted Ward for taking time to himself over something like that. "Not wanting to go in" is bull shit and as someone who played sports growing up, that person is no longer a teammate, whether they remain on the team or not. You can shower alone, you can dress alone, you can ride to the games alone, you can take your ball and go home alone. You're exiled.
