You’ve truly outdone yourself and oneself. You made a trailfinder -1. You took a 3 subtracted 2 and made a -1. This is far superior since it has the 1/7 scale 22R engine that was a joint merger between Cummins and TRD. I love the way the rust only attacks the rear fenders on these trucks! Oh and the steering mod, Auntie Em it’s a twister. Great work!

Okay, that was pretty damn good man. But definitely a tease description. Because it’s you, I was at first stoked, and with tools in hand was ready to mimic the upgrades you came up with. lol, instead I was laughing so hard I dropped my tools. I’m a huge RC4WD fan, but am very often bummed at how they seem to barbecue their customers over and over again.

@@turksandjerps For sure man! If anyone can make the TF3 more palatable to us disappointed RC4WD fans, it’s you. I haven’t dove into it fully, but I did remove the fan and “pulley piece” off of the front of 22R and it looks like one could fit a servo there in a sideways position. Hell, knowing how well RC4WD knows how to milk every penny from their customers (me) it looks like they set it up to sell an adapter piece to do just that. What better way to sell a lot of steering “upgrades” then to design it so poorly that every TF3 owner would pay $29.99 to have a classic CMS set up. Other prediction, releasing it with the Mojave II body is another money grab. Bet around the time the TF3 is released as a kit, they release a new body. Like a 1/10th scale Black Hawk body. Which is actually a perfect profitable plan. Release a new body in a 1/18th scale, getting those exciting to see a new hardbody to buy one. Then release it as a 1/10th scale.

The set screw on the pinion? Hex driver, either 1.5,2 or 2.5mm. One of those usual sizes
