This podcast is so special to me because I work out in the woods where nobody else is, and so when an episode comes out I immediately download it before going to work. During the day while I listen to it I will actually talk back, yell, shout, laugh out loud…whatever while listening to this show. Big Cat has said that if he were to describe his job to someone it would be a person that anyone can hangout with, and he’s so right. I’ve been a listener literally since day 1. I had graduated college December 2015 so in January 2016 I took this terrible job with the longest commute ever & to pass time in traffic as well as during the day I was listening to sports podcasts. I heard PFT on The Right Time with Bomani Jones as a guest and was sold immediately. The guy was hilarious and the name Pardon My Take instantly stuck with me since I was listening to ESPN literally all day. I went and subscribed that day, heard the first episode & haven’t missed one since. Hank and I are the same age so it almost feels like we’ve grown up together lol I’ve met the guys a few times over the years & each time they’ve been as awesome as they seem. I was listening to my local Houston sports talk station when they had PFT as a guest back in 2015. He was so unhinged and hilarious that when I heard his name it was hard to forget.
