Don’t try to make him forget it. Opposing his obsession will make the bf resentful. Just get some couples therapy and talk it out. Honestly I don’t know if it’s ok or not. I don’t know if his modifying his body is what he truly wants (because circumcision will result in a loss of some sensation) or if there’s a deeper underlying issue. I do think that in circumstances like these it’s good to have a competent and patient professional to be able to assist you in working through these issues together.
