@@nsasupporter7557 you ask anyone who knew Chris and they’d tell you he was an amazing person…. The things Chris did he wasn’t himself, same with John. Substance abuse can make someone a completely different person. Sure they did some bad things but I truly believe they didn’t mean it 🤷🏼‍♀️
@nsasupporter7557
@nsasupporter7557 2 жыл бұрын
@@maggiesouza7 what I meant by that was Candy didn’t have such a miserable, tragic, out of control life like Farley and Belushi did. John Candy actually had control over his life and he wasn’t such a drug addict like the other 2 were. I know he had a drinking problem but still didn’t come close to the tragedy that Farley and Belushi’s lives were. Also, Candy was just a better actor in general. He didn’t only do a bunch of stupid comedy like those 2 did. I didn’t say that Farley wasn’t an amazing person, he probably was a nice guy but he definitely WASN’T someone to idolize, neither was Belushi

The saddest story I ever heard Spade tell about SNL and Carvey just being handed shit because he was Carvey (no fault to him, funny AF) was when Michael J. Fox was hosting. Spade told the writer's room he did a good impression of Fox. Lorne asks Dana, "how about you?", Dana says he didn't do one, then Lorne says to Spade "show Dana how to do it". There's a video here of Spade hosting an award show doing the impression with Fox in the audience, the slight stammer, the nervous Peter Brady voice crack, just every inflection is 100% perfect kzbin.info/www/bejne/apOsmZ6Frpp6jtE

My daddy was about 23 when tommy boy came out. Chris Farley was a big hero or is. When I was growing up my dad was the funniest guy I knew. He had a cadence and sense of timing that was unmatched, I would wheeze laugh everyday. When I was about 7 and my brother about 5 we all sat down and watched Tommy boy. It became our movie. We watched it probably a few hundred times. Whenever we would get bored we would just re-enact scenes. It was so automatic, we’d be sitting waiting somewhere and one of us would say a characters line and the other two would take over for the other characters and it used to make for so many laughs. I miss him so much. I wish I saw him more before he passed. You never know when your hero’s will go. Don’t let time pass you by
