Apparently they became besties on the set of Parenthood, and are still very close friends to this day. I started watching Parenthood cause I'm such a big Mae Whitman fan. I'll always be a fan of Lauren Graham, too, now. Each of them had great scenes with the other characters. But their scenes together were the heart and soul of the show, for me.

@@karlavaleriapachecodealba6889 I bet you've seen her in things and didn't even know it. She was President Whitmore's daughter in 'Independence Day' in 1996. She did a great movie called 'Hope Floats' in 1998 where she played Sandy Bullock's daughter. Really charming movie and the cast was very good. Mae did a couple of scenes that'll just break your heart. She was George Clooney's little girl in 'One Fine Day'. They, too, did a couple of really great scenes together. She did a fun teen comedy a few years back called 'The Duff' that was pretty fun. She did a great character on 'Arrested Development'. And if you've never seen 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' on Nickelodeon, do yourself a favor and check it out. Absolutely amazing the depth of story and character they achieved on that show, considering it was ostensibly a Saturday morning cartoon about kids that do magic. I can't recommend it enough. It was three seasons, very compact. Doesn't take a lot of time to see it. Very quickly became one of my favorite shows of all time. Mae did my second favorite voice in one of the best voice casts I've ever heard. Every time I see her in something I haven't seen, I end up impressed. Oh, and if you're a 'Friends' fan, she was the little Brownbird girl whose leg Ross broke. Then Ross had to sell cookies for her. One of my favorite episodes.

Really pisses me off when you don't know what the interviewer asked, and also that they hide some of the actors voices too and cut and edit it. Also, I so wish I could play Lauren's daughter, she seems like and awesome actress

Thanks, Mae. I've become such a big fan of hers over the years that I had to watch Parenthood. Then (of course) I fell head-over-heels in love with Lauren Graham, so I had to watch Gilmore Girls. Now I can't stop. So thanks for that, Mae!!
