This man Is different from my pastor who used to say: "Dont do as I do, But do as I say." Nought blessings & respect to you for memorising the koran. I dont know of a single Christian who memorise one chapter of the Bible.

I agree with 99.9% of what Sh. Yasir Qadhi said, except the part of where he says that the father is proud when seeing his son rise or that the father takes all the credit. My entire life my father has constantly shamed me and my siblings, cursing us, telling us we have no future, and that we will never ever amount to anything close as him and we live terrible lives up until we die. Some or many will disagree with me, but not all parents are the same. My entire life my father has always just put me down, so no he doesn't take all the credit, ill give him credit for giving me food and a place to live. But as a son, I had no actual father figure growing up, no lessons learned, or values to be held onto.

As Salaamu Alaikum. Dear Muslim reader, May Allah forgive your parents and my parents. Always all the dead of Islam in your prayers, including my parents.

How do you not force and be strict at the same time. I have to force my kids to pray. I'm a revert. This is new to us. It's impossible for me please make strong dua for my family. I eventually yell then I'm having a hard time being sad at prayer and upset

Sometimes no matter how hard parents work in terms of deen on their children still their children get misguided so it's not always the parents even some of the prophets children were misguided too so who are we Havnt said that of course we need to work hard on our children on deen side not always dunya Duas Reminders Showing examples by our actions And Allah عز وجل is the one who guides
