Parents today seem to forget that these virtues are hard won and take lots of role Modeling and teaching! We get back what we put into our young so applaud the parents and grandparents and the whole family! First food my little boy cooked was a chapati! He put drops of water in flour until he could roll a nice ball of dough. He rolled it out pinched of a little ball which he rolled into a flat thin pancake and fried on the stove. He was just 4! I told him he was a young boy with privileges and so he had to give back to his world and he was very protective, always. I had Charlie help with all sorts of domestic chores, he picked rosemary for our chicken and recycled our cans and bottles helping me. We had such fun because he liked that these duties were a necessary part of a life and were best tackled with a good Will and an open mind! As he grew he wanted to learn how to do things and I opened the gates for him to do his ideas! You have to realize kids don’t learn from the TV they learn from watching you and attempting to duplicate your efforts! If you are lazy you will have a lazy child! Praise their initiative and give them reasonable chores to work at and never punish their failures! Don’t praise them too directly but praise their efforts; you worked so hard on that I feel proud of your work! Never judge them! Never! You once were young did punishment or patience work better? I love this young man! I am seeing him but still can’t believe what I am seeing! Inspiring!

👩🏻‍💻I am from Magna, Utah, U.S.A, located on the west side of the Salt Lake Valley. I saw my mom's mom and dad everyday going to and coming from school. They always had something nice to add to our sack lunches for school. When I was 17 years old my grandpa died and my grandma couldn't drive. So I became her chauffeur and drove her everywhere. Every week we would put fresh flowers on grandpa's grave, go grocery shopping. I would pick her up for church, take her home, and bring her a Sunday meal. I really got to know my grandma and loved her just that much more. You, my friend, will gain so much by helping and supporting you grandmother. You will learn about her life, and what makes her who she is. I am very proud of you. 🙋‍♀️🇺🇲🇬🇧🇺🇦
