He is actually true about that middle class thing. The minute my elder sister passed out of school , it felt like my parents were done. They hardly went to my ptms or cared enough to actually take time out and remember my datesheet and stuff. Finally in 9th i was brought to a gov school( my mom teach here) under the pretext that my school was too far . When im actuality i understood that my sisters tuition was a lot for them along with the loans , like they couldnt afford to give me the same treatment my sister got. I was really angry about it cause my sister is able to follow her passion freely , and everything and then there is me 5 years younger yet handling my own thing. I do know my parents are really old now cause i was a late baby and i need to learn do ,y own things. But its kinda unfair that when my sister was in 10th , all she did was sleep, eat and study whereas now that i am in 10th i have to apperently take care of myself . I need to calculate my monthly expense cause i go to school and back home on my own , prepare my own uniform daily which my sister never did . Sometimes even make my own lunch whenever my mom gets hospitalized. I need to study due to the amount of competition i have and the expectation, hardly sleeping and everything. You know i just wanted them to help me another year, just in 10th but i guess they are too old to take care of another child. Sometimes they didnt even bother calling me whenever i was in coaching if i am gonna be late or not . I have to remind them i have this examination on this day and my father makes a huge fuss about it cause now he has to drop and pick me . Its not that i hate being responsible for myself or hate my parents , its just i sometimes i feel like asking them if they couldnt afford to give the second child the same treatment as the first one why have another?? . Like are we just backup plans . Discard us if we arnt useful??
