Chad and Amy Kempel had overcome their battle with infertility and had two small children at home. They then made the decision to attempt for a third and final baby to complete their family. They soon learned that baby #3 would be quintuplets!
Chad shares a few hacks that he developed since to make life with quintuplets more manageable. For example, he updated the family dining table with 5 bucket seats to more easily feed the babies. Also, he added a changing station to the back of the family van so that outings were more attainable. Get a glimpse into their life with 7 kids, ages 5 and under. It is doable when you have a husband like Chad. Obviously he is a handyman and very resourceful. Most husbands are useless (like mine) and they leave everything to the wife. This I think is so adorable, I love babies (I had 5) but it is hard work specially when you do everything!!!!!

I remember how my mindset changed with my 3rd child. My first 2 were 15 months apart . I remember when the baby pooped his diaper at the door and I had the feeling to quickly change him in while my toddler wet herself with something she grabs from my diaper bag. Than I had to change her. Than the baby spilled a milk over him self. It took me 40 minutes to get into my car. Than the baby was hungry. It was a feeding time. …….. with a 3rd …… when he pooped at the door I looked at my kids…… eh …… he can survive a 20 min drive 😂 than I change him with other kids still in their car seats , safe, out of trouble, in trunk of my van in my destination. The routine and the system is the key!

What an amazing example of coparenting. These babies share a birthday with the Rosenkowitz sextuplets, born in Cape Town on 11th January 1974.They were the first sextuplets known to have been born alive anywhere in the world.

My twins were so easy, I can't imagine how hard it would be with 5. And I had a 2 year old. He was alot harder than my twins. I think with one you kinda fly by the seat of your pants, but with multiples a routine is a must. Everyone needs to sleep on the same schedule, eat on the same schedule. My twins even pooped on the same schedule lol. Otherwise your days never end.

When I worked at a daycare I was able to take care of 6 babies for 8hrs a day it was exhausting but they were ranging in age for 6wks to 12 months so that made it easier I’ve changed a lot of diapers!! After 1 yr old I’d take care of 8 for my shift some days this includes teaching them to feed themselves and potty training!
