First time using the hoist completely by myself highlighted that I really need to practice. This vlog has just too many examples of how not to use a hoist. Oh dear...

"How not to use a hoist" I absolutely LOVE it LOL You are soooo realistic, and sooooo down to earth, you're beautiful & a great mom to your daughters. Thanks for sharing dear.

We haven't used one of those yet! We may eventually have to consider this. Up to now, we've just been working our muscles to lift Raelynn. Thank you for posting the video, regardless of your "mistakes." We all make them, and that's ok. I could probably make my entire channel about all the mistakes we make with Raelynn's care!

Oh, I could easily have a bad parenting channel, haha. To be honest, I lift Elin myself much more than I use the hoist but she is growing and my body is complaining so I need to learn.

You always make me laugh, love this video and yep reminds me of all the things I have made mistakes with but hey, she's still here 23 years later so can't be too bad, lol.

I think it's human evolution, kids are designed to survive their parents' mistakes 🤣

This made me smile and reminded me of when I was still new with using a hoist; I'm pretty sure anyone who hoists on a regular basis has made those mistakes at least once! Watch out for footstraps as well!

Don’t worry totes normal when getting used to it. I was wrongly hoisting with the breaks on until a therapist was like “STOP! You must never hoist with the breaks on” Oops.

You're supposed to turn the breaks off? Haha, you never stop learning 😹

@@ParentXP yes for safety, so that instead of tipping they roll (which sounds scary but is still safer than tipping)
