There’s no doubt it’s a nice fragrance but just lacks that wow factor. I sprayed Haltane on one arm and Aventus Absolu on the other arm and monitored the smell throughout the day. Haltane does dry down to be nice n pleasant but the Aventus dry down was on another level. Haltane is for a nice guy. Absolu is for a man that’s dominant and assertive

I purchased a 4.2 oz bottle, I’ve only worn it twice. I’m not completely sold on it yet, and I really don’t understand the Oud For Greatness comparison. When I received Oud for Greatness, I knew immediately that it would be something that would always be in the collection. I feel the same way about Haltane that I felt about Side Effect, it took me a while to come around to Side Effect and now I really enjoy it. Now, Haltane does remind me of something, and it was driving me crazy because I couldn’t figure it out but then it hit me. In 2007, I was gifted a bottle of Thierry Mugler B-Men, and that is what this reminded me of. That was over 15 years ago and I’m not sure what B-Men smells like now but Haltane reminded me of it.
