Never got too deep into the PDM house. Back in 2020, I bought a brand new bottle of Layton blindly. Had heard all of the hype and spent some big bucks based off of everybody online opinion. Sprayed it for the first time ever in the car on the way to dinner with my wife. She told me I smelled like vicks vapor rub. I agreed with her. Immediately started to decant off the bottle online. Turned 230 dollars profit on the whole bottle, but other than greenly I never tried another. Just always felt the house was overhyped for what the price points are. I may try a decant of this one to give the house one last try. I have a big collection, but about 2 years ago started to steer away from niche and focus more on designers, as that is what started it all for me. I have all of the designer heavy hitters, practically. But now, I am starting to want to venture back out into niche, as I only own 5 or 6 niche fragrances. This may be my next sample I try..

Man I’m so glad someone else gets that vix vapor smell from Layton!! Both me and my wife said the same thing!! But I’ll agree I have 80% designer as well, they’re just easier to wear and usually cheaper lol, but as far as niche houses go I do think PDM is my favorite house, reliable decants usually for for 25-30$ so I thinks it’s worth it to try a few
