What if banking had outperformed until fy19 and now it is going through time correction. How can we say it is undervalued for sure? There has been tremendous really in autos over past 2 years. Is it safe to invest even if profits are rising as well? How will cyclicality play out?

BFSI is the first sector which gets affected by any slowdown (coz global banking sector is linked tightly). Rest all sectors will also fall, but banking stocks fall first. Thats is why FIIs are very cautious about bank stocks and sell them as soon as there is any negative outlook about world economy.
