Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah brother Wahid, hope this finds you well, only found your channel last night and loving it as we all can tell you’re giving us authentic information. My question is i haven’t done bachelor and have a huge study gap after passing HSC, i know it won’t be a big problem there but we don’t have a lot of money either, That’s why i was thinking of coming to The USA to do an Associate Degree( because they are cheaper) and the subject i like is Speech Language Pathology. In Bangladesh no schools are accepting me as i have a huge gap. As you said we should do good in our studies, i also want to study really hard and do good as for a long time I am waiting to have a chance to study again! But my parents will be able to help me with the first semester only as we are not from a wealthy family Alhamdulillah. Which means I’ll have to work pretty hard to pay off the fees. And i just found this subject on the list of STEM designated courses:) I am not sure if the associate degree is also STEM designated! I have learned this subject will let me study masters straightaway without a bachelor but I’ll have to do some pre-requisite courses before get into masters (this will help to save a few years) but I’ll have to sit for GRE and it is pretty competitive to get chance in a Grad School for this subject. So what would you advise me? do you think the subject i like is a good choice? Could you please give me some advice on my situation regarding subject choosing also if i can somehow manage any good scholarship as a female student from a developing country? I would really need a scholarship or a loan without interest if i get the chance to study there. Thankyou for your efforts and time that you’re spending for us.

Food Science is STEM. STEM code is 01.1001. Food Science is different area. If Culinary Art is under Food Science then it is STEM. I do not think it is STEM. If you get a job and your employers has authorized to employ foreign workers then they can apply H1B for you.

What is 2 year post work permit? Are you talking about CPT OPT? OPT can be either 1 year or 3 years depending on STEM or Non-STEM

স্যার, চার বছরে কম্পিউটার সাইন্স নিয়ে অনার্স শেষ করার পরে কি ৩ বছরের OPT পাবো একসাথে পাবো নাকি অনার্স শেষ করার পরে ১ বছরের OPT এবং মাস্টার্স শেষ করার ২ বছরের OPT দিবে আমাকে। বা না কি কম্পিউটার সাইন্স নিয়ে ৪ বছরে অনার্স শেষ করার পরে ৩ বছরের OPT একেবারে ই নিয়ে নিতে পারবো

you can not breakdown opt. if want to take opt after bachelor you can take it and if it is Computer science the you will get 3 years OPT altogether. or you can take after MS. WIse to take OPT after MS and you will have more chances to get H1b
