It's a beautiful tradition of Moran tribe people from Assam .

That dialogue gave us a lot of amusement in the edit table.. Atleast someone noticed 😊

This is animal abuse. Why you need to train a wild animal. He should be in Jungle not in people's house. What kind of tradition is this. This is shameful. Can not you see the pain the elephant goes through. This kind of tradition should immediately stopped.

I can understand your concern , but this ain’t a wild Elephant. It's the calf of a domesticated elephant. The practise of taming a wild elephant is illegal and is not practised by anyone. The young calves of domesticated elephants are made familiar to human touch, that is what is done here. The elephant has every required documentation as per law including DNA test which is done for elephants with a domestic lineage. On the other hand the domesticated elephant has survived in the vicinity of humans since centuries.A jungle is no longer its primary habitat. Indigenous people have alway respected nature and co-existed with them since time immemorial.

According to your logic, every farmer should leave their bullocks in the jungle. LoL

Yes ,you are right

That is your stupid logic not mine. People should use machine instead of bullocks in this modern age.

Any animal husbandry is "animal abuse" at least these tribals consider elephants as their family not industrial level production like cows, pigs, buffalos etc
