🐉The Lunar New Year, commonly known as Chinese New Year, is also celebrated this year 2024 in Paris.
We welcome the arrival of the Year of the Wooden Dragon, symbolizing vigor and vitality.
Paris joins in the festivities: some neighborhoods are adorned with traditional decorations, restaurants prepare special menus, and events abound throughout the capital.
At the Faubourg Saint-Honoré Street, a colorful parade took place Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
This lively event showcases Asian traditions and folklore, as lions and dragon take over the streets of Paris in a whirlwind of vibrant colors.
The meeting point was in Paris in the 8th arrondissement at 1:30 p.m. at the corner of Faubourg Saint-Honoré and Rue Royale.
Around thirty artists from the Paris Lion Sport group, dressed in vibrant costumes and skilled in percussion, animated this festive and lively procession.
This exotic parade, featuring mythical lions and dragon symbolizing nobility and luck, strolled to the sounds of traditional rhythms for our utmost pleasure.🐉
