Paris 2024 Olympics Athletes' Village Revealed :
french architect dominique perrault has presented the masterplan for the olympic and Paralympic village that will host the games’ athletes in 2024.
the project comprises around 2,400 housing units as well as 119,000 square meters of activities, offices, and other relevant services.
The athletes' village is set to break ground in early 2020 with a scheduled completion in the fall of 2023. In turn, after the Olympics are over the housing development aims to open to new tenants as early as 2025.
after the games are over, the site will evolve into a permanent community, with the newly constructed residences hosting new inhabitants as soon as 2025.
the flexibly designed configuration of buildings is capable of accommodating a wide variety of programs - from housing and hotels, to offices and retail.

I don´t know. These buildings sure look OK now, but after seeing other olympic villages afterlife, I´d say these buildings will start to decay very soon after the Olympics. :/

c'est absolument horrible, sans aucune ambitions, nous serons la risée du monde après les jeux japonais ou leurs villes sont déjà depuis des décennies ultramodernes par rapport à ce genre projet qui font déjà vieux avant d'avoir été réalisés, mais on est habitué à avoir honte ce qui est tragique.

Je préfère moche écologique et recyclable à la fin des jeux, que beau polluant et à l'abandon après les jeux comme à Athènes, Pékin, Rio et bientôt "ta" Tokyo.
