Nice to see Don, Yehuda and Giora. Whatever instrument you play you still sound like you.

This is either an empty truism, insofar as the speaker allows that people change their tone concept, or it is the inflation of a useful observation about tone concept and physiognomy into a damagingly false principle.

Where can I find a tradition Bb to try out in Houston?

There is a really big difference ! thanks for this video !

Thank you fro sharing this. How is the playing feel compared to the Tosca or R13, in terms of resistance and flexibility?
@klarinetta8 жыл бұрын
Looks like the Tradition could do with a little lighter setup. Just as when I switch from my Festival Bb to my Bb R-13 Prestige clarinet I like to use a little bit lighter reed. I personally like the sound and feel better from the Tosca and Festival clarinets rather than R-13,RC and this Tradition clarinet. I like some resistance in my instrument but I like to have more resistance in my setup rather than built into my instrument.

I prefer the more "direct" sound of the tosca compared to the "diffuse" sound of the tradition

Tradition the best!!!!
@Mauriziobarenboim8 жыл бұрын
Wow the Tradition a lot more singing like while the Tosca is a lot more in your face. I feel like they're two different clarinets for two different purposes. What do you think?

So will the Buffet Tradition be you primary clarinet from now on? Or will you stick with the Tosca?
@richiehawleyclarinet8 жыл бұрын
I will be getting a Tradition for sure. I will break it in and set it up and after about 6months will decide if it will be primary.

Hey Richie! I'm currently looking into buying a Tradition. Was wondering if you did end up getting one yet and how it's breaking in for you?
@nica16397 жыл бұрын
What does setting it up involve? Is it necessary to do more than just adjusting some heights/springs?

The second movement from Beethoven 6th symphony. And yes, I do the editing for all my videos and also for the rogue ensemble. kzbin.info/door/hqsJh0H2t2A9jhWkn1ObrQ

Thanks for the reply. I am going to go to Europe and really want to buy a Clarinet. That is why I am researching around which model I should get. I play piano and saxophone, but want to try to play clarinet. I always love the sound of clarinet.
@rothschildianum7 жыл бұрын
I listened again with better loudspeakers, and I made it loud. The Tosca has more airy sound for lower notes, and I like that quality. But, of course, it also costs nearly twice.

@ccanaves6 жыл бұрын
@@richiehawleyclarinet They say that the Legende is to the Tradition what the Tosca is to the R13 (some kind of "super pro model" of the same bore family, if that makes any sense), but I haven't tried one yet. Have you? What can you tell us about it?
