I love Paris and not only was I born there but lived there for 7 years. I have been going to Paris every two years to visit. I know exactly where your walking tour was especially around Maubert in the 5ème. Thank you for showing us Paris. I was just there in June of 2024 for 2 weeks and had a great time with my friends.

The city still retains its cafés and architecture., but after several visits in the last forty years, it has become overrun with far too many tourists. Other European cities have said the same thing about their cities. Avoid summer visits! The best time is to go late Fall to really enjoy!

Greetings and salutations to all, I had to watch this one twice , the intro was edited so well. It wouldn't be a walk with V if he didn't nearly get run over, this time by a Bentley, very classy. Quay Montebello offers a charming view of The Grand Lady, the spire is actually inspiring. So much in this walk...Nougat...mmmm...the corgi dog was cool as were the guys playing cards. How do you know there is no locals in Paris ? Just by hearing the conversation of some people (I'm French) you could know there are locals and not only tourists. By the way, most people living in Paris are born in other regions of France. An other thing: if you go in touristic areas, you will have tourists, no locals.
