To this day it still switches back and forth when i have to socialize vs being alone with people whove known me my whole life. I believe it is her characters voice but it can be a security thing now (at least for me and what my opinion is as to why she is still stuck flip flopping between the two. I'm not saying it's 100% accurate though.)

I’m not gonna lie I didn’t like when he said he’s obsessed with her. That worried me a bit as someone who has had an obsessive partner before but then again we are only seeing 25% of their life and some is probably scripted + people sometimes use the wrong words when they’re nervous so it could just be a slip up. Ultimately we don’t know them behind the scenes.

It’s heartbreaking when you read in the book that he was the first relationship that she didn’t lie about anything and then much much later on she discovers he’s a Father already and doesn’t see his child - makes you wonder why someone wouldn’t share that part of themselves with someone that they love. She is in for an abusive marriage in which she’s demeaned and put down (and possibly physically abused) followed by a nightmare divorce like Bethenny Frankel once she decides to escape. Poor woman! She thought she was finding a Prince Charming but he’s a lovebombing narcissist. In a way, putting all her trauma out there just told him exactly how to manipulate her and what a damaged person she is…he became the fake saviour and “nice guy” but he’s anything but. Reminds me of Meghan Markle constantly bringing up Harry’s mother and triggering his trauma to emotionally abuse and control him. This lunatic is going to traumatize poor Paris deeper than she ever imagined once his fake “angel sent from heaven” routine wears off. I’m horrified no one in her life could see this about him or warned her. He’s a sociopath and she needed to run but now she’s trapped with two kids. Another red flag is how obsessed he was with locking her down ASAP, pushing her to have kids (despite abandoning his first kid, so clearly no true empathy or fatherly instincts are present), and worst of all being a fan of hers since high school!
