@@DecadentDelicacy Taylor Swift didn't grow up rich, so it's understandable she can be relatable to average people whatever she does, I have no idea, just assuming. Paris doesn't have to pretend, she grew up rich and has created the rich girl socialite persona, she will stick with it. As much as fake trying to look relatable can be annoying but it's just as annoying when people want rich people to be relatable to them, hate whenever they see rich people doing something they can't.

I completely agree about seeing a facialist. I have been going once a month since I was 29 and at 61 my skin is great. I don’t look my age and I have never had plastic surgery. My first in NYC understood skin like I have never seen since. Could look at a product's ingredients and know what it does and what type of skin it is best for. The facials were tailored to each client and they were two hours long. I was so spoiled. When moving to LA, I had a tough time finding someone as they either extracted but didn’t massage or massaged and didn’t extract. I need both. It took me about a year, seeing about 10 different facialists but I finally found someone who does what I need and I am truly grateful.

As a biotechnologist, it really bothers me when someone makes a claim about a product, such as it repairing damaged cells, and does not further elaborate how it does that. Does the product have living enzymes that correct the error through base excision repair? She should go more in-depth about it because that’s one serious claim to make. There was this other skin care brand that claimed to have probiotics in their skincare when, in reality, it was just prebiotics. Those aren’t the same thing, they won’t do the same thing. So many claim things they don’t actually do.

People like Paris probably hear this information from an esthetician who hears this from a talking points pamphlet on these products written by a marketing team who constructed the pamphlet from a memo from the lab. Seeing Paris look exactly like she did 15 years ago just brought on this weird wave of nostalgia for me. I never was a huge fan of hers but she was definitely one of the major celebrities during my formative teen years. The 'caviar lime' (citrus australasica) is an Australian native that produces a 'finger lime', which when opened has all little light green/pinky-red capseals running down the length of the 'finger' (which is the size of a finger. Obviously!) It has LOADS of Vitamin C. The type that is great in skincare lines. (As well as other things)

I consider their & most other celeb brands to be very mass market, even though Paris always inserts a very luxe appeal. I too expect her to use higher tier. I love watching these videos! I’ve learned so much about skin care. Before that, I knew that I needed to wash my face and that I needed to apply sunscreen. I had heard about serums but it seemed too confusing for me and the way that you explain why to use them (and how) has been so much help for me! I appreciate you honesty on what is not absolutely necessary and how you make an effort to include products for different budgets. I think if you just did fancy products, I wouldn’t care to watch. I am Loosing my Freaking Mind over your reactions to this video. Especially after the Burning Man comment. You are so right about her. She is in such a different level. Loved how you commented on her neck. While watching the video my mind was just zeroing in when she applied products to her neck. It’s like one of those old sculptures, y’know? I agree with your thoughts about scented products, for me part of my skin care is just taking some time to take a deep breath and relax! Thank you so much for these videos! I enjoy them so much!
