I don't lie I say it's my battle wounds, my battle with depression and berievement and these are the scars I done to myself coz the pain was so bad I needed to stop the heart pain with the physical pain. She doesn't have to be influenced by his music to create her music. I'm actually really glad she has found her own style and sound. Again, she's going about it the right way....the only way. I love your rawness and sensitivity to the topics of mental health and the various ways in which we deal with these struggles. Some people self harm with chemical substance, others with tools. There is no shame in this struggle whatsoever. Life is a journey and it is an imperfect one. Your father was amazing and I loved him, but you knew and loved him like none of us ever could.
