All Soo let me just say that he was worth the wait chile! He is such a cutie!! And he seems like such a nice guy. Also, loved your what’s in your bag. I still haven’t bought a planner, I have been thinking about doing all these fancy ones but I think I may go with your Moleskin one. I think I need to keep it simple this year to focus on being more productive instead of getting fussy with these overly complex systems! I’m going to rewatch your planner video! Looking forward to the next vlog and thanks for the shoutout!

Notification squad!!! Love your vlogs! I'm a nontraditional (just turned 37 this week with 2 kids) that finished my undergrad in December!! FINALLY!! I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Human Services. All my professors and advisors have convinced me that I should pursue a PhD based on my interest. I literally never considered it before now. It seemed far fetched. I found you while searching for examples. My dream job was once Essence magazine because my interests are black women, empowerment, healing, family, etc. I've been a hair stylists for 7 years and I loved the conversations with my clients. I was most interested in the psychology of the African american experience in regards to tradition, culture, salon/barbershop culture, respectability politics, and just the overall renewed spirit we feel when we get our hair done LOL!!!! I'm intrigued by the type of work you have published. I once contemplated switching from psych to sociology but I wasn't certain what I could do with the degree. Can you describe your thesis and how you matriculated through undergrad to where you are now and how you chose your route. Also, if you have any advise for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I live in Atlanta, GA. Thank you!

Salut notification squaad?! Honestly stoked to hear so much from a successful Fulbright Study/Research recipient (most first account info is really only on different/English language based grants) bc I'm awaiting first response for my 2018-2019 notification! Anyways, congrats again et SLAY! But curious what does your daily routine look like when you visit your host institution etc? Would love to get little insight into the formal structure of some of your days svp! Also extremely interested in hearing more on your thesis project, even as you are in the initial stage of research. Love ur channel ty xo

salut samantha! i can definitely show you "a day in the life". i will say, my relationship is that my advisor is great and responsive to meeting with me, etc. but i do ethnographic research so i reach out to participants for interviews, etc -- the only thing i do at the host institution is go to the office to do work. thanks for watching!
