Paris Mountain, South Carolina

Labor Day weekend at Paris Mountain State Park was a perfect getaway. The park is huge, but the campground is small. Built by the CCC, Paris Mountain has a great mix of day use space to have a quiet lunch, splash in the lake, or go for a long hike. Its trails are famous in the mountain biking community. We enjoyed our time there and we hope that you enjoy this video.

Cool. I used to live in downtown Greenville and never went to Paris Mountain. Now that I'm older, I realize what I was missing out on. We need to get out and explore the great places around us!!

That's funny. Last night, I was thinking that with so few people here, no one would know who we are or why I'm carrying this camera around. Yet, of the three here, y'all had seen us. Crazy! We've had fun doing these and finding ways to encourage people to get out and try new places and go explore. We hope to see you at a campground again soon!

Paris Mtn is our neck of the woods, coming from Simpsonville. We've been there alot because it's so easy. And if we forget to bring something, it's about 20 miles home! Last time we were there this past February, we noticed the bath houses were extremely clean! So much that I had to comment to the website. I've had worse motel bathrooms. My only complaint I could muster up is the parking/camping spaces are pretty broke up from the jacks and stabilizers. Not huge, but you do have to position just right to miss them. Keep the vids coming!

You can tell that the paved surfaces are showing their age. But, it still a great little campground tucked in right close to downtown Greenville. It's such a great mix of tranquil campground and access to modern amenities nearby.
