@lazhar_captures Thank you for replying:) Yes, the commentary was very well done. But even more than that - you addressed a really big question for this lens (low light) and did it very professionally and proved that there is no problem to use it in low light if the skills are there..

I liked the silhouette of the guy about to walk under the tracks. As for sensitivity... Remember when 400 was a lot? And they still managed to make good photos. I go beyond 1600 only when I absolutely need a faster shutter speed. Typically during live music gigs. The rest of the time, I'd rather play with the limits. Not enough light to use fast speeds? Fair enough, I'll make do with it. Either with a motionless subject or with purposeful blur. I like this kind of challenge...

Small smartphone sensors show their limit when the light is low. Even with night mode, it will look ok on a screen but if you zoom a little, it will show the limits 🙂

@@lazhar_captures As much as I would agree with you that the image quality at the pixel level would be bad, I would still consider it not an issue. I have a couple of prints from photos I made with my affordable phone. The files are awful but I do like the prints. And you should see some of the stuff they're showing at CENTQUATRE in the exhibition that opened yesterday... Some of the photographs were probably made at very high ISO with old cameras. They're still good enough to be in that exhibition. According to the curator, at least ;) Then again, when you can have clean files, why not? And even affordable gear does wonders these days...

Thanks for this video! I’m really interested in this low profile, pancake lens for traveling but was wondering how the f2.8 does in low light. Was this shot with the X-T3? I have that camera and am also curious if the lack of IBIS will be a problem with this lens in low light.

Hello, sorry for the delay in responding. Lack of IBIS isn't a problem if you're shooting street in a sense that lower shutter speed makes movements of the subject blurry. For me, IBIS is for video where it shines or if you shoot static subjects 🙂
