I’m 29 years old and I got married when I was extremely young and we have 2 kids (still together) However, I definitely feel like I need a solo trip to understand and love myself more without being mommy or Wifey! With turning 30 soon this story was extremely inspiring ♥️ I appreciate these kinds of stories so much because young adults need to hear them, it’s a very gray area that is always missed between your late 20’ and early 30’s. I needed this Thanks Adrienne 🥰
@karentrejo1714
@karentrejo1714 2 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean I married young and feel like I missed out on my journey in getting to know myself alone. I always followed my husbands advice or did what he said. Now that I’m 31 I see life completely different. I went on my own solo trip to Mexico last month in September. I had anxiety at first because I missed my son. He is 7. But then later felt strange. I went from living with my parents to living with my husband. So that was the first time ever to just walk around with no one to get to or nothing to do. Just like Adrianne said. That she could just walk to wherever and no have a time or place to get to with no one to give her influence on choices. It’s strange but freeing. I only went for 5 days but I’m planning to do it again, I just don’t know when. It’s definitely needed. I lost myself along time ago…. And life just passed me by. Can’t let it pass me by no more and can’t put other people before me. I have to take care of me too.

Hence the reason why adults used to say take your time. But nooo, we grown, we know better 🙄. I don’t think young people should get married before 26yrs, the male brain only fully develop at 26yrs. What’s the rush? Maybe I may treat myself to a weekend get away in the near future

@@sarahjay5484 but they have given details already. Jeannie even showed us the couch where she told Freddie she wanted a divorce and that she told him by basically blurting it out to him. Adrienne has told us about Lenny and the key to his apartment that he didn't want to give her and how she basically had to push for every next step in their relationship. She even told us about the fact that her sister tipped her off that Lenny only planned her proposal on the day he actually proposed to her and that it made her feel very sad and like an afterthought because for everyone else in his life he puts in a lot of effort, time and thought when doing something for them. That's A LOT of information. What more do you want to know?😯😯😯

I moved to UK two years ago for university. Being alone and independent, especially during Covid made me grow up and so much braver, and last summer I spent 3 weeks in Scotland. Went to all the major cities, took the bus everywhere and just explored to my hearts content. Doing a major trip like that at 22 was such a privilege and I felt so empowered. Every woman should travel alone at least once in her life, it’s AMAZING 😍😍. Paris is my next solo trip, here’s to me going next summer! ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing A. I'm 27 and I'm at a point in my life where I need to rediscover myself. I've made some really bad decisions in life and this is the inspiration I needed. Your paris story as touched me personally on another level. Bless you always

Loved what you did! Made me emotional a bit because a lot of us go so long without getting to know the true us, but once we take the time to be alone and like you, go to restaurants alone or even movies, journal etc. you realize just how great you are. It’s been a while since I’ve gone out on a date with myself, not counting the trips to run errands for the kids, and without the Hubby etc., and you’ve inspired me to make a reservation at a nice restaurant and do so. I’m so happy for you and the life you created for yourself post-Paris. You chose you! ♥️

I love this video! It's so refreshing to see you talk about doing something like this a bit later in life. I've lived in New Zealand and in different countries in Asia, as well as the U.S. but I've always had a fantasy to live abroad in Europe for a bit. Every time I visit Europe I don't want to leave.

I think it’s amazing of how your life story played out once you decided to put yourself first and making sure it was in tune to what God wants for you. I’m a little jelly bc I’m 41 and haven’t felt real love in years but I have God… Keep uplifting on your channel and The Real!! ❤️❤️❤️ All you guys. 😘🙌🏽

I love that you made this Adrienne. Everything stated is 💯. I took a solo trip to Thailand in 2017 as my ‘Eat Pray Love’ moment & agree, every woman should take at least 1 solo trip to find yourself. 💖

Thank You Adrian❤️ Today would’ve been my Mom‘s 95th Birthday she passed away when she was 78 from Alzheimer’s. I just had to tell you that because I think watching your video today was a gift from her to me. I enjoyed your Paris experience so much. Im very grateful to be able to see everything you went through as you soul searched and fell in love with your unique self. And to go after what you really wanted in life. My children are grown now and i’m beginning to search myself to find my deepest desire and to basically go for it. I’m getting closer and closer every day. Even the part about the age difference with yourself and the other students touched me because sometimes I feel like I should’ve done more at a younger age.i know it’s never too late💃🏿 Your experience just lifted me like wings😍 Thank you for being so REAL and for sharing your experience.I’m a Scorpio too and I really feel where you’re coming from. Happy Birthday Young Scorpio✨🎈🥰 God Bless You & Your Family 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾

You are so relatable on so many levels Adrienne! This experience revealed to me why I love doing solo trips. I'm also in my early 30s and a scorpio (like u!), and everything you explained resonated with me. From walking the streets for hours, listening to your own music and just basically beinf yourself and loving yourself. I just truly hope to have a full circle moment one day, like you did 🙏🏽 this was beautiful, thanks for sharing ❤

I felt this episode. Im so grateful to God that you were able to do this and found yourself and the person you are because of it. I had a similar experience on my study abroad program, I went to Valenica, Spain for an academic year by myself and the person I was going there was not the same person when I left. It took me on a journey or rediscovering myself, my likes, dislikes, my weaknesses, strengths and really just who God had called me to be and not be. It was very hard at times but I wouldnt be where I am now without it. ♥♥

I love this! I travelled alone throughout my late teens to early 20s. My first international trip alone was when I was 22 - I travelled to the country side of France. I remember leaving my sister in Paris after had travelled together to go on this trip. I bawled my eyes out on the train, but it was the most incredible experience I've ever gone through and I am so glad my heart led me to there.

As a 29 year old, now single mom of 3 (7 year old, 6 year old and 1 year old) this video was the encouragement and push I needed to start on my self love journey that I've been putting off for a while, being almost 30 and now single with 3 kids I felt like it was too late to do anything that I wanted in life, thank you for being the example that it isn't too late. ❤❤

I’m here crying 🥺 I’ve been in such a funk for over a week. Watching your video helped. It’s crazy because my sisters have recently been telling me I need time for myself but, I don’t know how. I depend on my loved ones for happiness and don’t even realize it. I do now but, it’s so hard to figure it out on my own. I have a son and this morning he was having a rough time getting up to go to school. As I’m helping him get ready I just wanted to cry because I had to find the words to get me up and going. To motivate him. ♥️Why’s it so hard to do it for myself 🥺 Thanks Adrienne 🙏🏼

I also love your testimony about going on trip and falling in love with yourself, yes i plan to take a small trip to enjoy myself and pray to my heavenly father. And yes I am single and can make it happen. Love your channel
