Such amazing history, amazing architecture, with pretty & quaint shops & eateries abound. Paris is an interesting place, because it appears to be a combo of both chilled, peaceful & relaxing, especially when just strolling around the parks/gardens & streets, but equally busy & bustling in the city centre, but all in a very good way!! To be honest, i think Poilane is a bakery house just slight above average.There are so many Japanese brand butter cookies that are a lot better than punition cookies by Poilane. And Josey Baker Bread in San Francisco makes the best country bread that Poilane is not even close to. The only good thing at Poilane is their Apple tarts.

As a French sometimes it hits me hard to see some brands are catching visitors with the most basic things that can be found anywhere for half the price or less (the cookies) . And I am not very proud of the hotel either, there are so so many more that are of a higher standard for the same price. Sigh.
