i was thinking the same thing but they are dancing here so they want something flowing around to go along with their vogueing. frilly fans and ribbons go along with it but i indeed wanted to see a wand but i don't think they can do much with a wand unless it's some slow vogue number. at the rate that they are moving they do need frilly fans and ribbons dancing along with them to enhance the look and make them look more agile etc...

@@thepinkonesoterrify5267 good idea, i didn't think of that. in that case, yeah they should have all had wands or ribbons attached to fans. japanese dancing stiff fans are the best instead of those cheap fans they keep buying. people need to research kabuki, geisha, oiran, taishuu engeki, even gia gunn uses stiff fans and she has studied kabuki for years. a japanese dancing fan you can twirl between your fingers and spin it and flip it and do all sorts of tricks instead of fanning yourself repeatedly. it's getting old in my book. sometimes people putt confettit or glitter inside the fans to surprise people. only person that had the best prop was the one dressed in pink, the rest are sad...i hope the one in the rainbow skirt didn't win because he wasn't that good and his fan is super cheap and not interesting.

judging is not giving the trophy to your best friend or house member it is giving it to the one who performed the best.When you do that you make the loser up their game.If it is your house member that loses you will only make them better.They will go home and practice to come back stronger.Yougiving them the trophy because of their previous performance is keeping them mediocre.They will never try new stuff as long as the old stuff wins.Judge judges and stop showing partiality!!If you want to see fresh new performances then chop when chop is due.Just my opinion.

the proper dancing fans that can be spun around and flipped around would be japanese stiff dancing fans along with the fans that have the long frilly stuff coming from them. it don't take that much money to buy a japanese stiff fan off ebay. just gotta find the right one that is cheap but also look expensive. used ones are usually the cheapest. if they actually watched kabuki they would know more tricks to do on stage. ex: gia gunn, tamasaburo bando, taichi saotome. some of the best at using fans.
