I sm so proud, to have been born in Hayes, Vere, Clarendon and also knowing, that my compatriot, who I also honor, for his contribution, to literature and a fellow black writer, like myself, Claude Mackay, is also, from Clarendon. Clarendon, also produced, a lot of famous singers and athletes, as well as politicians. It is a parish, with distinction and more so, than some of the other parishes.

Excellent job. I was born in St. Elizabeth and grew between Albin Mt. and Heartsease, District, St. Thomas. Despite living in St. Thomas, I had no idea that St. Thomas and its adjoining parishes were so rich in history and mother nature's natural glories. Hey, I'm being tickled by the videos!

Me too. I did performed there, when I was younger and still in Jamaica. It was a dance number, and we performed, as a dance group, from our school, Hayes All Age School. I did not spend, my formative years, in Jamaica though.

I was told by various persons that Denbie farm show was started by my granduncle Cleaveland king in Blue Moutain Manchester, it got too big for the small village soo it was relocted to Denbie. Just saying.

Thank u for the video...I am a little disappointed though...I was hoping it would be longer, n speak more of Clarendon’ unsung hero such as my a great uncle Archdeacon Lennon/ Lennon H.S. n his contributions to Clarendon, Jamaica, Denbigh Agricultural show, etc.

Do you have any historical information about Sunbury Clarendon? Anytime I mention my parents are from there I get blank stares, even been told I've made up the area.
