Ahaha! I had ballet flats and sling backs initially, but after one day of walking my feet said “no”. So it was sneakers or staying in the hotel room🙈

These days that's what Parisian women wear the most - either sneakers or boots/ankle boots, heeled or otherwise (plus sandals in warmer weather, of course), in fact's it's become almost the exception to see women wearing other types of shoes. I'm a Parisian myself and I live in high-heeled ankle boots.
