I only wear linen in our hot California summers as cotton is too warm for me now (this easy overheating starts in one’s mid-to-late 40s, we just can’t regulate our body temps as well as in youth). But your capsule is beautiful, I especially love the seafoam-green print dress, that’s a favorite color of mine. I love all the cool, soft pastels, they’re perfect for my coloring. The sound is muffled, though, Lauren, like there is something over your microphone.

Hello Lauren, thanks for another lovely video. Great collection of items for the summer season. Definitely a big fan of linen clothing. My husband and I are adding more linen pieces to our summer wardrobe. Dresses are always an easy reach item. The dress with the tie straps at shoulders reminds me of my childhood dresses from the 80s though 😆

This is a lovely summer capsule wardrobe. I love the freshness and lightness of it. I also have many similar pieces. However I have a few more darker bottoms for the period days or office. Long sleeves are not practical for where I live (Houston). But it is perfect for summer in Europe. I just went to Scotland for business recently. I wore long sleeves in office everyday and needed a medium weight trench coat when going outside.

Excellent video Lauren and some wonderful ideas. I love all the dresses you featured and the shorts. In summer I find it important to be cool and comfortable. Especially my feet 😊I cannot handle uncomfortable shoes. I walk a lot and I blister quickly 🫣my favourite shoes at the moment are Hoka. Not the most stylish but the comfort level is 1000%!

Summer is on and I’m more of khaki pants not into shorts. Hell even in beach I still would wear pants. I agree about city/subway with comfortable shoes. The wear and tear of sidewalk and underground adds up and you need to wear something that comfortable moveable and durable. NYC to me is the ultimate test of that. Also amount of sweat if a week of heat wave will be unbearable no matter what we wear. Btw I see your numbers of subs are growing keep it up Lauren. ❤

While one can appreciate your good taste & stylish outfits, everything you showed is very expensive. Not everybody has a big budget. Style exists at every budget, so it would be nice to show both options :/

I showed you examples of the types of items I have as inspiration - it doesn't have to be the exact same item from that exact same retailer! The shorts and top I showed in this video were from Zara, cost less than 35 euros each from memory - how much cheaper do you want me to go?! I don't do KZbin full time - why would I spend extra money on top of my "very expensive" (your words) pieces just to purchase cheaper pieces for one KZbin video, to please you? I have a budget too 😂 Or would you prefer I order from retailers just to show you cheaper pieces and them return them to the store?
