My second amaryllis is about to bloom..one of my favorite things to do. Growth is such an amazing thing to me anyway! The crate of veggies shouts abundance. Not sure what the French would be for flair..but you have it!!!💃

Hi Angela, Thanks so much for the refresher on planting paper whites and amaryllis. Even though I have planted some paper whites in the past, as I get older, I appreciate reviews! After blooming inside, amaryllis can be planted here in the spring in zone 8 and will bloom the next year and following years. I have to have something live to care for in the winter months, so staggering them is a great idea. Happy Thanksgiving to your large and wonderful family!

Do you have a music suggestion for where to find songs like the instrumental "oh Christmas tree" that was playing during your planting of amaryllis? I find instrumental Christmas songs way more pleasant than ones with vocals.

If they can be used again, I store them in the garage until next year or I plant them in my orchard so they do not go to waste. All the produce for the arrangement we give to our lifestock.
