P.S. Each season is broken down into 3, 3 episode acts. Before watching season 1 episode 7, I also recommend watching the Imagine Dragons "Enemy" video, the episode will hit harder with the context. Also, after finishing the first season, watching the "Worlds 2021 Show Open" is good (it's like an animated / live action bit from the show).

My advice to people wanting to watch this show is to watch every 3 episodes or arcs at the same time. First two episodes of this show is world building and can be a bit boring but episode 3 is where you start getting emotionally involved

The show is nothing like the game. The game is like multiplayer chess, and the company that made it gave the pieces on the board faces, personalities, and backstory. The lore is phenomenal, as you will see (have seen?), but the game is worth avoiding.
