I can definitely see that GD & TOP sing their song with a lower tension to match with Jimin. It's like they're trying to reserve themselves not to overwhelm her or shade her with their charisma. With Bom, they would have sung without those concerns and self-restraint because they know Bom can shine herself even with GD&TOP.

지디의 프로듀싱 능력이 뛰어난 덕분에 잘 조율된 것 같아요. 하지만 다른 두 팀도 참가자에게 의상, 노래 분량, 동선 등 여러 부분을 몰아준 게 잘 보이지 않으신가요? 특히 에스엠은 화장이나 의상도 백아연이 독보일 수 있게 신경 쓴 티가 나더라고요. 아마 선곡과 캐스팅 실수, 카메라가 인지도 높은 스페셜 가수를 집중으로 비춘 것, 그리고 박지민과 달리 두 팀은 동성 가수가 함께 무대해 음색이 묻힌 것 등의 이유로 실버블렛님이 그렇게 느끼신 것 같아요. 저 역시도 다른 두 무대가 구성적으로 좋은 무대는 아니었다고 생각하지만, 그 두 무대를 해당 스페셜 가수들이 직접 프로듀싱한 것도 아닌데 '지가 제일 튀려고...'처럼 의도적으로 상대를 비하하는 댓글은 좋지 않아보여요. 욕설이 포함되어야만 악플인 건 아닌데 말이에요.

Well, Jimin is better than Bom. She can cover Bb5. Bom's vocal range is D3~G#5, but her supported range is Bb3 ~ G#4 (though not 100% controlled/pitchy). Ok, Park Bom has been trained for many years and debuted years ago, but Jimin's voice and technique are much better. I don't hate Bom and stuff. This is just a fact. :)

Obviously the BEST performance among three performances and I have to say that PJM was really lucky that she was paired with GD & TOP. First, they were males, so PJM was the only female (compared it to Lee Hi with Miss A. Fortunately the girls still made Lee Hi as the central spotlight). Second, GDTOP are type who will give you great (if not the best) stage act, no matter with who or when or where. Third, they shared their spot with PJM so ppl paid much attention to her (compared it to Baek Ayeon with Tifanny-Taeyeon. The song was originally sung by 4 people, but somehow with 3 ppl, she was overshadowed so much.). But I feel sad for her. Look at Lee Hi now. Watching 2012 SBS Daejun with those big 3 singing and how Lee Hi who was lost to her got all the cheers, well...

This was a really interesting performance for me - because Bom's part's are very high in this song and I personally don't like when she hits high notes because they tend to sound a bit harsh on the ears (not an attack, just saying I prefer her mid and low notes better - still can't get over that clip of her covering 'We Ride'). But it was only after I watched this performance that while Jimin in some ways hits the high notes with more stability and smoothness, there's something about the way it's sung that shows Bom is def a pro. Even small examples like how I found a bit annoying when Jimin kept dragging out the oh yeah - really differences but made a big difference. And all the nitpickers - I KNOW Jimin and Bom are amateur vs pro here, I'm NOT comparing them. I'm just saying that watching one performance made me realise that the original was much better than I - as in ME - had always thought it was. Chill.

When Bom hits high notes they tend to become strained or it's hard to listen to it at times, after hearing how smooth and stable Jimin was here I feel as if it didn't fit the song. It's weird to put it this way but Bom kind of made that part her own so hearing other people feels weird. Jimin however has an outstanding voice.

For me it was an amazing performance! Jimin hit the high note without any difficulty. And T.O.P was just... OH MY GOD! When BIGBANG performs, they go hard and have great stage presence and a lot of swag and are all badasses on stage . They know how to own the stage , at the same time, they also know how to give the spotlight, when they are performing with others. Here, GD and T.O.P let her shine, and kept her in the spotlight, because this is Jimin's stage. T.O.P kept looking at her with kind, encouraging eyes and was smiling at her, so that she did not feel nervous. During Bang Yedam's stage with Taeyang in KPOPSTAR 2, Taeyang also tried his best to let him shine. During Infinity Challenge Festival, as well, GDYB let Kwanghee shine and kept him in the centre, during their Mapsosa Performance. One of the many reasons to love Bigbang. 💕💕💕

I've always thought she was a great performer but this performance lacks the energy that the song usually has. But not only from her, TOP and GD aren't as riled up and loud as they usually are to me.
