I always liked the old Monte Carlo before the new arena was built, it was always a relatively quiet, clean, reasonably priced hotel in a good location with plenty of amenities that wasn't too crowded. I think that's probably going to change with the new arena and theatre and after these new renovations take place.

It's not that bad. I like the location of the Monte Carlo. Seems that they have done well over the years to be re-investing millions into the renovations.

It's a completely different system from July. Basically, I did the research and this was the best that i could come up with for a reasonable price. Trying to buy a new house. So, all the extra pennies have been put towards that.

Thanks for the update on the new ParkMGM. I am thinking of staying on 4th of July week because of a comp offer, but don't want a construction nightmare. So few updates on how it is going except for your video. Would be great if you could revisit every month or two to show the progress, if it's feasible. I heard the pools just opened, maybe next time you could give us a glimpse. I'm sure everyone is curious.

I stayed there in 2012, and it's radically different in this video and even more so now. I walked through a bit after you in September of 2018 and my only thought was, "Man, I hope they don't have a fire, because it's REALLY hard to find the exit right now." I'm sure it's better now the Stripfront area is complete, but back during that construction... Yikes.

Absolutely fantastic video!!! I will be staying at the Monte Carlo or Park MGM this coming weekend March 2 & 3, not by my choice. I used to stay there all the time in the early 2000's and it was always great but a lot has changed. The casino looks pretty open but the rest looks like a cluster of walkways. They are ruining the pool area though! The Monte Carlo had a great pool scene with the lazy river/wave pool etc. The main pool was small, but still not a bad layout. Now it will become just another day club, hipster pool scene, catering to another demographic. So annoying newer isn't always better.

Hi there, they had three pools before & one was a lazy river and one was a wave pool & they were not huge but decent at least. I just looked up the new ones and what a shame now they are three Boring! & SMALL plane old rectangles :( Way better before!

Like usual I love your videos they are excellent. At the 6:30 mark the guy talking about the DJI osmo having issues. I wish he would have said which type because I have the DJI osmo mobile gimbal and it's excellent. But this gimbal you are working with is also nice. Your narration on your videos are great. Do you have any videos doing Fremont Street at night or the strip at night. Going to continue watching keep up the good work and I will continue to support your channel anyway I can

I appreciate the support. Yeah, it's not too bad. Keep trying to improve each year. In July of 2017 I did videos at night on Fremont and March of 2017 did some night filming on the boulevard on Friday night. Pretty crazy on the weekends during the week it's not as busy.

Problem being they all try and out do each other. Then place the expense costs on the guests. By raising the resorts fees, parking fees, ect. Lovely how they try and outspend each other like City Center cost was $9,100,000,000.00. Then they charge you because they overspent to try and out do the next place.

Yeah, decent guy hopefully we will run into each other again. I agree and don't agree with you there. If you go away from the strip it's a lot cheaper. They bump up prices in tourist areas. If you drive just a few blocks away you can get 3 pack of 24oz coors for $9.00 that will cost you $9 for 1 on the strip.
