I completely understand why their respective fans thought they should be together in real life, but it is impossible due to Korean entertainment industry. You know my mother grew up reading People, US Weekly and many American celebrity magazines. It is widely expected for the American stars to get married and have babies etc. On the contrary, The K-Drama actors must give up their personal happiness in exchange for fame and yes even love from countless fans around the world especially in S. Korea. It is not prohibitive to get married and have a baby, but do you honestly will judge them if they get a divorce or break-up? Think about what happened to Song Hye-kyo when divorce was unexpectedly filed? Too many upset fans so invested in the relationship! This is why I try to avoid getting invested in "shipping" but if you can separate between reality and fiction then you may ship as you wish to do so... in a rational way. Meanwhile, I enjoyed watching the interaction between both actors and apparently it was well received by many fans too.
