I think thats because korean people have their own standard about natural acting. I think the main reason the show get very low rating because of the expectation of this kdrama. Do hwan just get first role after success play a role at mad dog, others plays good role at their previous film. So they expect a lot. The second reason is this drama is an adaption, of course it make the expectation higher than ever. For us, the international viewer, we dont expect that high and if we compare with our film in our nation, joys acting is better than our most actress

Its hard for her she is a lovely character just so natural and happy hes not used to that , and he really loves her, she gave him a life of fun , joy and happiness in little things, he didnt know this kind of life existed before he met her, he has learned many things,simple things but finds the situation too hard his revengeful friends leading him on, and his mother was the hit and run driver in Tae Hees accident, so many variables to sort out, to me he can never be with her, but see how it all pans out

This scene is so amazingly acted. I’m in awe at how well they express their emotions. Tae Hee made my heart ache but the raw pain in Si Hyun’s face is something else. He can’t even look at her and I am so in love with this troubled (douchebag) man and I just want him to be happy alongside Tae Hee. He needs to reevaluate his relationship with Sooji and realize it isn’t healthy and stop enabling her to be selfish and manipulative.

IMO, I feel like they’re perfect for eachother. He’s never loved any woman in his life besides his mom but Tae Hee was the first. For Tae Hee, she’s never cared or cried for any man in her life until she met Shi Hyun. Shi Hyun is such a broken soul, him having Tae Hee’s bright and caring personality in his life was probably the best thing that’s happened to him. Which i understand why he’s acting the way he is. He feels sorry about the bet and even sorrier because he thinks his Mom did the hit and run on Tae Hee. But he’s just just hurting himself even more.
