I always found that more expensive, heavy duty parts work better for me in park setting to get the speed and durability to go big and be forgiving on sketchy landings. But lighter parts worked better for me to really throw the scooter around to get the technical tricks easier and particularly in street to hump higher to get the big rails. That being said it was the old days, a longer, taller and heavier scooters make grinding SOOO much easier and safer, especially for longer grinds. It does however limit the ability to do trick in and out of the grind. Heavier= stability and endurance, lighter=faster and higher. Horses for courses I guess :/

I originally had a grit scooter with battle bars (it was actually very good for me) but now have ‘customised’ it. I have drone t bars and my original grit deck. It’s pretty wide. My bars are pretty big (big enough to be qualified to be street) and my wheels are root industries 110mm they were the cheapest wheels at scooter hut. I had to change em because I had 125 mm wheels on the complete grit and they didn’t fit the clamp I wanted. I am very happy with my ‘street’ set up. I think my scooter is street.

What are the most durable wheels I could possibly get? Idc if they weigh 5 pounds. I do hard street riding like wallrides on brick walls and intentionally clipping ledges that are too tall for me to jump clean.
