Plum Island is one of my favorite places! Lots of wildlife to observe and very peaceful there. If you go at the right time, you'll have the whole beach to yourself :)

My family lived on Plum Island back in 87’-89’. For a nature kid like I was (and still am) that preserve was legendary. I will never forget the rows of birders lining up on marsh with scopes, the beach plums and the tide pools at the end. I plan to go back there one day.
