The fine saw dust and wood glue or epoxy is used to fill any void's or imperfections in the wood. The final product looks amazing but personally I would have offset the planks to a checkered or diamond pattern.

That is finger plank parquet. Not shims. Shims are usually pine or birch at best. This is 12-14mm x 1" x 12" - 18" and is racked out on edge grain to create a mosaic full plank appearance. This is a very high level skillset project. My kid plays with shims in his sand box.

Ich selbst finde das Lack nur ein Oberflächiger Schutz ist für Fußböden,ölen ist 100 mal besser.. Aber trotzdem eine schöne Arbeit

@@Alf21erz Öl kann ich nicht sagen. Aber was den Lack betrifft stimmt. Ich hab meinen Holzboden lackiert (prof. Treppen- + Parkettlack) und das war nix. Wurde porös + matt. Aber wer weiß, vielleicht gibt es noch besseren Lack.. Nächstes Mal würd ich's gern mit Epoxy versiegeln. Weiß dajemand was drüber?

Так давно уже делали. Я думаю парень наш с снг. Так еще в 1990 делали. Все по нашему, самая мелкая пыль после шлифовки с лаком, и не отличишь место шпаклевки. Молодец!

@@user-rn1yy7vw3p обычный стандартный паркет все ещё актуален во все времена. Фантазии из дерева огромные, вплоть до художественного искусства. Дверь покрасил так до состояния прозрачности, что так структуру волокна дерева было видно на несколько миллиметров вглубь. Продал дверь за дорого на аукционе. Сейчас этими уже не занимаюсь.

I mean tile and wood is the way to go carpeting is just so dusty and dingy and dirty no matter how many times you clean it and shampoo it. I understand if you have a child maybe you have a playroom that's carpeted
