I have a truck like yours. I use mine to help out my apartment landlord when they have problems with abandoned and disabled cars. I make a little on the side taking friends and others that live in my apartment complex to the repair shop also. I do not make a living doing this like you do but it is fulfilling when I help someone out with getting their car or truck to a shop to get it repaired.

We had an incident here in Indiana this week where a tow truck driver was hit with a beer bottle while strapping down a car. The driver never saw who hit them and they were knocked out cold for a few minutes. Stay safe out there and keep your head on a swivel.

Good job educating that guy and I am glad he is handling his situation. When I have been in vehicle accidents it has taken one to two weeks for insurance to come out and do their thing with the vehicle and then I have had to wait for police reports to go through and that took about 1 month to go through and insurance to get a copy of it. I can’t believe people would move and not take their junky vehicles with them. No one wants your stuff left on their property’s. I have come across bad renters who do that though. I like your job. It is a needed service. I couldn't do it though. You are much better at being calm while talking to irate people than I am. I am in my mid 50s now and have just gotten to where I can calm a situation down. I used to go immediately to defense for just long enough to assess the situation and then offence.

I had a situation with a friend's property that was staying at one time, I had a 86 Jeep Comanche pickup that I drove once a week and parked back in the same spot every time. After about three months they stickered me saying they were going to tow within 24 hours, I parked the truck across the street that day. Went up to the office after I got home from school and straighten it out. Turns out they thought the truck hasn't moved in 3 months

It's the same thing with debts. Most of the time if you communicate with the lender they'll give you some slack. If you ignore them they come take your car.
