I have a truck like yours. I use mine to help out my apartment landlord when they have problems with abandoned and disabled cars. I make a little on the side taking friends and others that live in my apartment complex to the repair shop also. I do not make a living doing this like you do but it is fulfilling when I help someone out with getting their car or truck to a shop to get it repaired.

Good job educating that guy and I am glad he is handling his situation. When I have been in vehicle accidents it has taken one to two weeks for insurance to come out and do their thing with the vehicle and then I have had to wait for police reports to go through and that took about 1 month to go through and insurance to get a copy of it. I can’t believe people would move and not take their junky vehicles with them. No one wants your stuff left on their property’s. I have come across bad renters who do that though. We had an incident here in Indiana this week where a tow truck driver was hit with a beer bottle while strapping down a car. The driver never saw who hit them and they were knocked out cold for a few minutes. Stay safe out there and keep your head on a swivel.

I like your job. It is a needed service. I couldn't do it though. You are much better at being calm while talking to irate people than I am. I had a situation with a friend's property that was staying at one time, I had a 86 Jeep Comanche pickup that I drove once a week and parked back in the same spot every time. After about three months they stickered me saying they were going to tow within 24 hours, I parked the truck across the street that day.
