Tagged and now Bagged in the lot 3 x $175 sounds like he has too much privileges'. I work in a shop with a car park that people think they can just park there. now we have a parking inspector come and fine them after the 2 hour limit. one person has an Merc. convertible they found out that they got two parking tickets because they thought that they were entitled to park all day. Great work as always total respect for the work that you do and help keep properties free from pests.

Here in NYS police have systems in their cars to know exactly all about the car an owner. Even if it’s parked. Must be Georgia is not up to speed. Fake tags use to get you hand cuffed an a free ride to the slammer. With what are illustrious X-governor now removed after he got rid of bail for crimes things have changed. Being that cities have become at his so called statements sanctuary cities for border crossers illegals.

Definitely makes you wonder about the VW. I saw the other day an article about a suv that was towed and later they found a body in the back. I’m not sure how much later. How does that happen? Does your lot have someone that checks vehicles in and “checks” every one of them? I’m just curious because I have never even thought about that scenario until I saw that article

Question, do most complexes tack on the cost of you hauling the vehicle(s) onto the owners lease to pay for the hauling? Because the owners don't seem to think so, or your hauling may be cheaper than if the owners have other companies come and get the non running vehicles. Just wondering. Yeah, the flashing lights on that last clip, he must have them hooked up to solar panels because I'm sure the battery would be dead by now. Another interesting video, thanks Johnny. STAY SAFE !

Car owner pays to get it out. If they take a wreck the owner dont pay as the tow company will sell it for parts or scrap sfter a while. Cost does not get added by property.

@@rgrndu Okay, that's IF they want it back. But what about the NO ENGINE or TRANSMISSION vehicle, they're NOT going to come get it from the impound lot. So, does the property eat the cost of the tow (can't see that happening) or is it tacked on to a future lease or have to be paid if they move from the complex? Still, just wondering. Fortunately I don't live in a complex so I'm NOT asking for myself.

Regarding those paper plates, my first thought was how fun it would be to leave the paper plate with a bologna sandwich on it. But I know you can’t do that. I was just laughing at the idea. Hey Johnny, I've got a tow question. If I call a tow company, can I request a flat bed instead of a wheel lift? Whether people like my cars or not, I'd prefer to have 'em towed according to my wishes. My vehicles won't be towed against my will, for parking issues, mechanical issues or tag deficiency. I do things right and the majority of the time my vehicles are parked on my own private property.

Of course you can request a flatbed, you’re paying for it. Some owners manuals require a flatbed.

Yup you can IF you are towing them yourself. If someone else is towing it, unfortunately it's up to them I always did this for my 64 Impala and never had an issue. If they don't have one then shop somewhere else. You can also request one with AAA

"...for parking issues..." If you park in say, a handicap space when you're not handicapped, you most likely WILL be towed, AND you'll pay a hefty fine along with the towing fees.

Your property rights are protected only in the sense that if the towing party makes a mistake and causes damage to your vehicle, they are liable. Damage is a factual circumstance, not a matter of opinion. You're in no way entitled to tell them how to do their job if you're the one forcing them to do the job by breaking the rules. Private property doesn't actually matter. If your vehicle is known to or appears to be used on the road, it needs to comply by the rules set out for vehicles to be able to use that road. You can't have a dangerous illegal vehicle and protect it against enforcement by hiding it behind a fence, that's not how it works. Imagine the can of worms that would open up in terms of danger on the road... If you own a wreck that's not roadworthy, de-register it, remove the tags and put it on private property. But you can't both drive it and not follow the rules required for driving it. The two cancel eachother out.
