I have been lucky enough to work in person with Coach Dean for the last 5 months. I have much less fear of falling due to working with him. Plus the comradery of the group is somehow healing to me I just love that class. Coach Dean rocks!

My boxing workouts with Coach Dean are as crucial to my Parkinson’s treatment as my meds. His classes are upbeat, challenging, and flexible for folks with all different abilities. Even when I have been a bit listless or unmotivated at the start of a session, when I hear Coach say at the end of a class, “Great job, boxers, take those gloves off, get some water and get ready to cool down” … it always makes me feel like a winner, like I’ve accomplished something important in just 40 minutes. I highly recommend his Boxing for Balance classes. Coach Dean is a vibrant and positive sports coach and a life coach as well.

We have been working with Coach Dean (via Zoom, three times a week for almost two years) and he is terrific. Knowledgeable about the usefulness of different exercise routines, tuned-in to the special needs of Parkinson’s patients, invariably cheerful and motivating. He’s my rock. My wife Susan joins nearly every session as well.

The workouts by Coach Dean's Boxing for Balance make a big difference to my well-being while coping with Parkinson's. The exercises help to reduce my Parkinson rigidity and make me feel refreshed and more flexible. I move more smoothly, can get up and sit down better and I feel my muscle weakness is kept in check. Offered via Zoom three times a week, it's a program I highly recommend.

I’m going to do this every day!! I don’t have Parkinson’s but I have all sorts of degenerative disc diseases and fibromyalgia. This was a perfect routine for me!! Thanks Coach Dean! You made it understandable and fun! I like your examples and analogies like, “flicking water!”

Thanks for this. My PD is more tremors than anything else, but lately I've been dealing with sciatica. Felt better after this class.
