I hope everyone realizes in the comments down there that psychologically speaking, she’s looking around trying to connect broken memories. Memories are never concrete, the brain has to reconstruct what it believes happened and the best way to communicate the memories in a solid fashion. So the pieces that are vague like “walking along” is her brain trying to fill in the gapes to what she DOES remember. So the concrete statements she makes are the fragments of the event that her memory retained long term. Even your memories are fragments of what you do remember and what you don’t about daily occurrences. Quit spouting none sense about actors and fake news. -Psychology Major

Do you think its a good idea putting them on weapons of mass casualties such as the ones used in these recent mass shootings? This technology would warn schools ,our children and authorities when someone is traveling with an assault rifle on property. Is this a better solution then having people surrender their weapons or anything else that society cant agree on? If so please support or raise awareness I'm an inventor not looking for a patent I just wanna raise awareness and spread the solution, so please support thank you and God bless the family's, friends and innocent victims.

Invest N Invent dude. That’s actually pretty genius. Think of other circumstances too.. proving that a person’s specific gun was in the area of the crime, linking them to it... officers knowing if someone is armed when they’re confronting someone... how many lives could this save? How many more people could be brought to justice through this simple tech? And good people who own guns have nothing to worry about, none of their rights to firearms are restricted and they’re still able to do everything they enjoy. Obviously there are some possible drawbacks but the idea is pretty darn cool

@Lester Scruggs How so? They don't check people for mental instability, past criminal record, or even their birth certificate! All they have to do is show to a class, sign their name (or alias), and they get their license!

@Lester Scruggs Method of checking mental stability: other states, such as my native Texas, perform a search that goes way back into your elementary years, for signs of enhanced aggression, uneven temperament, multiple personality disorder, or psychopathic tendencies.

I didn't go to that school but i remember hearing about it on the news and how he used the fire alarm as a decoy to get people out. it sickened me and i felt so bad for those people. A couple of days later, I had been having an eerie feeling when suddenly a fire alarm went off... I was in my science class. I was so scared and almost never even walked out of that class, afraid that something similar might happen. My school had also been receiving bomb threats so of course I was wary of it. Thankfully, nothing bad happened though but the fact that a possible school shooting was the first thing to pop up in my mind or the fact that everywhere I go, I make sure to scope out all escape routes is just sad. We shouldn't have to go somewhere and think that it could potentially be the last place we ever see...

The fact that a school was shot up was not the media’s fault. They gave her a platform to say her side of the story so people can be thankful for their family. If she felt connected to a political movement after what she went through then she does and that’s her choice and she has the right to express that. It doesn’t matter if it was for or against gun control its her way of expressing herself and we need to just support each other in times like this. It’s unfair to call her out for being against guns when you have probably never experienced anything like this. This is her platform not yours and she deserves to have a voice.

For everyone saying she's reading a script: she probably is. If i had to go in, i would make a script because thinking of something that horrible and having to say it... i just can't even imagine. She probably has PTSD from that. Think of one of your most traumatic experiences, and just imagine how hard it must be to relive it and think about it as you talk. While a script wont totally help this, you won't start breaking down at the first word.
@willworkforyarn48932 жыл бұрын
It shouldn't matter if it was " scripted" or not. She was there. She lived through it. Perhaps she couldn't find the right words or feel confident enough. People think they know exactly what and how survivors should react. They are just ignorant if they can't even imagine living through such a horrific ordeal! That is why the laws are still not right! You understand better than them!!

well see we shouldn't be like "hmm i guess if no one follows laws anyways we don't have to have them." having stricter gun laws would make it not as easy to get guns at such a young age and most likely things like this aren't going to happen. cocaine is illegal but people still use and sell it. laws aren't gonna prevent someone from shooting up a school but it would reduce the risk.

Nobody thinks that this isn’t horrible. Nobody wants their children to go through anything like this. But literally hundreds of MILLIONS more children throughout History have endured exactly this same horrible death because their parents couldn’t protect themselves from Democide. People will die because of other people with guns, but many, many more people will die because they don’t have guns to protect themselves when they need it most. What about every life that has been saved because of access to a firearm? What about the people who chose to defend themselves and their families who not only can’t protect themselves once firearms are made illegal, but now the government has the right to kill THEM with guns because they have been made into instant “criminals” overnight? This is a debate between free men and the chronically misinformed. Free men own firearms and don’t need to be told, like children, what we may or may not hold in our hands. History has been entirely conclusive on this matter.

One day at my high school, on a rainy day, the fire alarm went off. We weren’t sure why we were having a fire drill on a rainy day because we never had them on rainy days. Isn’t sad that some kids were frightened to go outside because they thought it was supposed to be “Parkland 2.0?” and someone had pulled the fire drill to get everyone outside? The fact that kids don’t feel safe anymore is just so sad.
